Matching scholarships available to eligible Texas Tuition Promise Fund beneficiaries in grades 3 through 9 whose families have an adjusted gross income of $120,000 or less.

It’s easy to open a Texas Tuition Promise Fund account. And, the sooner you start, the more affordable a college education can be.

Be sure to read the Plan Description and Master Agreement carefully. It outlines the risks and expenses, including fees, associated with establishing an account in the Plan.

It only takes about 15 minutes to enroll online during the annual enrollment period.

If it is between September 1st and February 28th (29th in Leap Years), or between September 1st and July 31st for a Newborns:  For Beneficiaries under one year of age on the date of enrollment in the Plan, the enrollment period is extended through July 31. , you can:

  1. Enroll now online; or
  2. Download an application, fill out the forms and mail in; or
  3. Download an Enrollment Kit, which includes a brochure, application, rollover form and Plan Description and Master Agreement

To save you time, have the following information available before you begin for the Purchaser:  The person who establishes the Contract for a specified Beneficiary. There can only be one Purchaser for each Contract. The Purchaser is responsible for making payments in a timely manner and is the only person who may direct or receive refunds, or may direct rollovers, Contract changes, and changes in the designated Beneficiary except that the Contract may be cancelled or modified by the Plan. Friends and family who contribute to another person’s account are not the Purchaser and may not prevent, direct or receive refunds, and may not direct rollovers, contract changes, or changes in the designated Beneficiary. and the Benficiary:  The person designated by the Purchaser under a Prepaid Tuition Contract as the person for whom undergraduate tuition and required fees will be paid to an Eligible Educational Institution when authorized by the Purchaser. :

Enrollment Period 9/1-2/28 (2/29 in Leap Years) For beneficiaries under one year of age at the time of enrollment in the Plan, the enrollment period is extended through July 31.
Sales Period 9/1-8/31 The current Tuition Units:  Tuition Units are the unit of measure used to purchase prepaid tuition. Generally, one unit represents one percent of the cost of tuition and required fees for 30 semester hours at the school that most closely matches the unit’s pricing structure. price is valid for this period for anyone with an established account.
